I could not believe my eyes, when out shopping yesterday. I saw for sale, Winter Pansies, Violas, Heathers, Cyclamen and Primulas. Lordy,lordy, we are still in August, and have a bank holiday to go yet. These plants will not last beyond Christmas, let alone till next spring. Indeed, I have not set my Winter seeds yet. In another shop I saw winter bulbs for sale, and it looked. by the display, that people had been buying them already. |
