Whoop whoop!! Just got my first email bank scam! LOL


At first glance it looks quite genuine with the logo and all - but the wording immediately gives it away as a scam........plus I don't have an account with them lol.

I NEVER get these ! wonder why? is it because I am with a different email provider...

often get them on hotmail but not my blueyonder email .they have a background verication that emails go through before they get to your inbox and scams are weeded out. Used to get them yonks ago but not now on Virgin/blueyonder.

Cant remember how it works but we were told this happened some time ago as an update from them re security

Rose, this is honestly the first one I have ever had and I've had this email account for well over 10 years.

But the strange is this.......usually it shows your email address at the top of the message, but this one is blank, so maybe it wasn't even intended for me?? LOL

It was probably meant for me. I had an Alliance & Leicester a/c for years. Asked them to close it in July last year.13 months & 6 letters later they did & sent me a cheque for the outstanding balance 12 p!!!
Still haven´t had an e mail.
Sulking.

*sighs...well I suppose it is better than the tons of Vigari emails I get almost daily....lol...BCXX
