Just thinking about the Chilean miners...

Was amazed when I saw this on the news.
It must've been so good for their families to find out they were still all alive, but what doed the next few weeks, or months hold for them?

It will prove dangerous to try to make the opening bigger.

Positive thoughts to them and their families.

The worst thing is, their rescuers don't think they can reach them until December.

**Glucose solutions, rehydration tablets and medicine have been sent down to the miners, and these were to be followed by high-protein, high-calorie foods similar to those designed for astronauts**

Poor souls.

Those Chilean miners were down there for 18 days before they were found.
How on earth could they limit themselves for that length of time to eating small pieces of tuna and milk every 48 hours.
Not only that - there are 33 of them at temperatures of 97f in a very small area - not enough room for everyone to lie down at the same time.
Surely after a few days you would give up hope of being found?
I'd like to meet the leader(s) of this band of brave men!
