Little Lucas Ward wandered away with his bike and a packet of crisps from his grandmothers home over a week ago. He is 4 years old. His body was found in the Waimata River today which is behind his grandmothers home. His body was found 400m upstream from where he went missing. |

At least the family are able to lay their little baby to rest. The father has said that at least they know cos he would have driven himself crazy for the rest of his life searching for his little boy. |

Poor little mite, and how sad for the family especially the grandmother, who will probably never forgive herself. |
