Thanks everyone for your help - have sussed it! Takes me time to get used to things when they update the way we use the site. Am a bit of a dinosaur - I just get comfortable with things then they get changed. Sorry for not thanking you all sooner but this dinosaur is a very handy taxi driver who had to run the grandchildren to their friends (I have my uses!) Once again thanks for your input.

I still sometimes click on the name by accident......I'm so used to doing it that way LOL.

But sometimes, like Carol, I want only those pm's from one person, so click on the name instead. :-))

When you go to your messages inbox - click on the subject NOT on the name of the person sending you the message, then the message should open okay.

Whilst waiting for a computer literate buff to come along.....

Try hovering your mouse where it says 'messages' and then select 'in box' or 'sent messages' from the drop down box if that's what you want.

If you think you have something in your in box, unread, look for the notifiction email in your email account and click on the link. You should be taken straight to the personal message in a new window. You can have as many GR windows open as you like, although you may have to sign in again for the new window to open.

If neither of those methods help, you may have to contact GR.

Can any of you computer literate buffs out there help me? When I go into messages I get a page with Contact details and underneath another box with correspondence - I am unable to open the message. What am I doing wrong - Help! Many thanks
