*tsk* at 35deg and the sun high in the sky Autumn is no where near yet.

What I used to like about it as a kid was all the different colours of the trees, kicking through piles of leaves (especially if just swept).
The warm but darker nights when you could sneak a ciggie in the bus shelter without getting caught.

Now I still love the colours but hate the falling leaves and kids kicking them all over the place just after I have swept them up.

Apart from the cooler climate, and the changing of the leaves etc, just off the top of me head, how long can I resist turning on the hear. LOL

I like to see the changing trees,
.....but I really like conkers.
I can't resist picking up one or two and carrying them home .
They just feel so nice and I love the rich colour.

Autumn is a loathsome detestable season. Its damp, everything is dyng and there is nothing to look forward to but a long cold winter.
Oh yes there is, I forgot, I leave the country every october and go to NewZealand for a few months, I'll be back next spring : )
