Thank you all for your sympathy. Its good to know I am not alone. Cant moan to OH too much, he tries to do too much for me as it is and hes not at his best these days. I took two strong co-codamol last night and slept well until the early hours, when I had to keep getting up to pee! Had an hour and a half this afternoon too. Snuggled up under a small fleece throw we have and was soon off.

Sorry to hear you are feeling low at the mo,Jean. You say that you are having to use 4 pillows at the minute, have you tried the V shaped pillows at all? Several people on the forum I joined before I had my op recommended them. I didn't use one but they said that they helped aid their recovery as they couldn't sleep lying down.
Hope you soon feel better

evening jean, sorry to hear you are not so well. i understand about sleeping sitting up because i am asthmatic and sometimes when i used to have coughing fits that lsted for hours, that was the only comfy position i found. are you on steroids to help you ?

its also good to have a diversion which this is so good for. hope the evening brings some interesting threads for you.

Hello Jean
Sorry to hear that you feel so rough.
It is difficult to cope if you don't get decent sleep.
I hope you have a better night tonight and a better day tomorrow.

Lots of threads tonight, mainly to keep them going and to take my mind off my ailments, which are getting me down Worst is the fluid in my lungs which makes me cough and wont allow me to lie down properly. I sleep sitting up in bed, lying on four pillows and move ata snails pace when I am up. Keeping the mind occupied helps.
