Hi Kemp,
I read it yesterday . What a load of bl**dy spineless jobsworths!!

"A Suffolk County Council spokesman said any work was the responsibility of Babergh District Council.

But a Babergh spokesman said: "We have received no information at all about this individual. We would normally get a referral from adult social services in Suffolk.

"Once we receive a referral, we would put it into action."

So Suffolk are saying it's not their responsibility. Babergh admit (at least to the newspaper) it's their responsibility - but need the information from Suffolk!
Essex are sat on the sidelines like a very inefficient referee, glad they appear to have passed the buck!

If it wasn't so pathetic and hurtful, it could be funny! I can see a Monty Python sketch in the making. Headless beaurocrats full of their own self importance wandering around like headless chickens.

Where are the overpaid senior management of these various councils? Shouldn't they be telling their underpaid 'minions' to cut the red tape and get n and do something?
Oh - sorry, they'd ve 'working from home' or attending meetings to discuss what to talk about at the next meeting, and attending 'jollies'.
They obvously have no idea/care about what Ash has done for his country or the situation of him and his family - and others like him.

Reading between the lines, I can guess what this is about, and it is ridiculous. Was it printed in yesterday's Telegraph, as I still have my copy.
My heart goes out to them all

This makes my blood boil.
I , like everyone, have been following Ash's story since the beginning even though I haven't posted.
To serve your country with your life and then to be treated like this is disgraceful and ALL the councillors should be given uppercuts, bet they have never left home soil only for a jaunt or three.
Same goes on here, Our Defence Personnel should NOT have to fight for what they need, the Governments should be falling over backwards to give them the BEST of everything they need.
Getting off soapbox before I get a turn in the naughty corner.
Love & Hugs To Ash and his Family.
