Do you want her to Susan?

I don't know how, I just wondered if you wanted to allow it.
I have never ever been asked this before, is it normal on here?

Susan

If you're really sure you want this person to have all of your tree, then you would need to first of all download your tree from GR to your computer as a Gedcom.

Once it's on your computer you can attached it to an email to the other person.........unless they have some sort of tree maker software they wouldn't be able to open it though.

She is a distant relative. I've given her access to my tree so she can see what's in it. She is only just starting so needs some help. The other alternative is for me to print out a copy of her specific branch and send it to her.
Like you i've never been asked before.

Thanks Mary. I think the best option is to print out her branch. Sorry if my message seem to be everywhere but i've been off GR for a while and replied wrongly to Deanna
without thinking what i was doing. So deleted and started again. I need a cup of tea.

With full access to your tree, she would have a good guide to building her own tree from your information.
She could use whichever format suited her.

I prefer to log my people individually and that way the facts can be checked and make more sense

you will find that printing from the genes tree takes up a lot of paper and doesnt show in a good set up.As she has access to your tree can,t she just look at the branch that suits her

Good night Susan,
I just came on to say good night to everyone, and saw what you had typed.
If I have been given permission, I usually just take what I need.
We all have our own ways, don't we?
