How lovely to share the memories of your dear Grandpa - I too hope he is resting in peace, or maybe playing the piano for newcomers to that other place. He sounds a lovely man so is sure to be entertaining folk and letting the little ones dance around as he did with you.

I never had a Grandpa alive when I was, my maternal grandfather died suddenly on his allotment, a few months before I was born.

All I have are wonderful memories, I never saw him angry, just a quiet gentle giant who played the piano and let us dance around when we were little girls!!!

My grandfather was born on the 31st August 1910 and had he lived would have been 100 today, suddenly realized after looking at the calender. Made me think a lot about him today!!! RIP Grandpa.
