I used to belong to Gloucester but now just belong to Somerset and Dorset and Hampshire. Both have a good quarterly magazine with lots of information and a good book/CD list and both are always very willing to help with research. |

Recently joined Essex, Colchester branch. Benefits - CDs to buy with info on local parish registers & lots of local history books etc. However, I found the group to be rather cliquey which is a bit off putting so I have only been to the one meeting. |
