Letting go is hard ,but we all have to do it.As long as they know we are there if needed.Nothing worse than to have a clingy Mum in front of their friends lolol

Think how tidy and quiet your house will be and then you can look forward to the calls for 'Mum I am running short can you lend'? (never see it again - repeat performance when g.children go to uni). Then you can look forward to the returns with all that washing and odd socks and a 'lived in' house!!!!!!!

remember how you wanted your parents to let go ?
It's your time now ...
You are the bow, but they are the arrow
You may aim but once loose they are alone.
Remember you have guided them they best you can, there is nothing more you can do but be there if needed to pick up and put together any pieces.
That usually means washing, cooking and spending.

Enjoy

Like £300 on my 29 year old son's new car radiator. He needs his car desperately for getting to work and my old man is a big, loving softy, bless him. PS I could've got a lovely new outfit and all the trimmings for that - only joking!
