It was going to be a different colour, but luckily I found an old whitish tea-towel.
I'm not going to take bets about this thread seeing as the last 4 having now disappeared into the ether.

I will refrain from mentioning anybodies name and I will not put up risque jokes about dogs. To save the RAC and the AA I promise not to take the ' P' out of cars likening them to my body.

Infact I'm going to water me plants because the rain we were promised has just happened and it wasn't enough to fill an egg-shell.

*confession* - My daughter 'threatens' my grandchildren by pursing her lips and saying - look - white lips.
I innocently asked her why. She replied 'When I was young, and you were getting annoyed, your lips went white around the edges'!!
Well, at least she had a warning!!!

Ahhh Susan wiv numbers it wasn't really a white flag it was a grubby teatowel I use as a floor cloth ,,,,I was gonna wave my nice red scarf but I didn't want to get any holes in it , having not long bought it and it being rather pretty and useful like. lol

IF MY BODY WERE A CAR...

If my body were a car, this is the time I would be thinking about trading it in for a newer model. I've got bumps and dents and scratches in my finish and my paint job is getting a little dull ...
But that's not the worst of it.

My headlights are out of focus and it's especially hard to see things up close

My traction is not as graceful as it once was. I slip and slide and skid and bump into things even in the best of weather.

My whitewalls are stained with varicose veins.

It takes me hours to reach my maximum speed. My fuel rate burns inefficiently.

But here's the worst of it --

Almost every time I sneeze, cough or sputter either my radiator leaks or my exhaust backfires!
