Why are GR saying they have a close match when I am looking for an Ann and they trace a William! What a bloody waste of time - it's not the first time similar has happened to me. |

You know, Ancestry does the same sort of thing if you do a search - you get a list with the most likely ones in name, age, place listed first, going on with similar names with gradually less and less in common - and some of them do seem to have something in common perhaps enough for you to read the details again. Gr is only doing the same sort of thing, only not loading it with details to start with, and you might pick up a family reference |
