No I didn't watch it last night but I do remember the original, Frank Finlay and Susan Penhaligon...was it really that long ago :( I was 19 : lol how time flies.

Hi Rose. Yes it really was that long ago lol Remake is very good. I didnt expect to like it, but I did. Came across this clip from the 1976 original which stirred some memories

Rambling Rose, you are naaaawty, you have stolen my thunder. I was going to say Susan Penhaligon and Frank Finlay. But no, did not watch it. After the first time, I didn't think I could stand a 2010 slant on the matter.

I don't think any remake could be as good as the original - I watched it, but it only seemed loosely based on the story
