You are their daughter's great aunt. She is your great niece. |

My sister son is married and they have a daughter so what relation am I to their daughter? |
|||
|
KathleenBell | Report | 8 Sep 2010 00:16 |
|
If your sister's children are married then their partners are your nephews and nieces by marriage only. They are not blood relatives. If they are not married then the partners are no relation at all. |

Thanks for that information as I get a bit confused with the line of relatives. |

Rose is correct. They would be your mother or father's cousins and your first cousins once removed. If they have children they would be your second cousins. |

I always get confused with that Kin, but I think I am right that they would be your first cousins once removed. |

Thank you for that Rambling Rose, so would my great aunt and uncles children be my second cousins or something? |

About three months ago I sent a message (via pm on here) to the granddaughter of my Grandads brother asking her if she would like some info on the famly. Her reply " the connection is too distant to be of any value". |
