UzziAndHerDogs Report 8 Sep 2010 20:07

Last week another person arrived back with 2 dogs. Now apart from the fact that there is definately more small dog poo not being picked up around that area, they are never leaded, nor do they answer to their names.

A few days ago I was outside talking and these 2 dogs came past running up and down my fence setting my 2 off, regardless to being called and chased they still aimed for my fence. I happened to mention that I hope neither of mine get out as they will tear them apart now. I got oh but their only playing. Maybe I replied but my 2 won't be, they get a bee in their bonnets about loose dogs running around their fence.
Yesterday morning the dogs were loose again and I told them, the dogs trying to make light of it, not to go worrying mine as they would wake OH up. The owners reply was what he still in bed lol we will soon change that.
My reply at 8am was yes he is, as he didn't get home until 2.30am. I was jokingly told (I think) 'you should keep him out the pub then'
Today once more loose and worrying at my fence, I politely asked that she put the %$£& dogs on a lead as they are supposed to be on site or I will let mine out. To be told ha ha these are terriers ..... (not sure what she thinks mine are)

Heard later that she was telling a mutual friend that I'm grumpy, my dogs are pussy cats, and her dogs are doing no harm etc
friend said My dogs are not pussy cats as she has seen them go. friend also explained that OH happens to work in a pub not drinking in it. The answer still was well mine just want to play so why should I lead them.

I really, really feel like taking mine round there and saying okay lets play. Actually I want to go round and give her the fishwife treatment but mouth wise I would lose lol

Mutual friend found it quite ironic as she had been round here mopping up blood from a fight between my 2 because of her 2.

And I'm the baddie here, because I don't mix and they do. !!

Shelly I do mix with neighbours but I tend to pick and choose. ..bit like Woolies pic and mix .. I just am not in and out of others vans etc. and tend to keep to myself.

Welcome to my baddie side mind, even tho' I'm going to be baddie because I am in the right. ???

Iam on your side, babe.

You obviously keep your dogs under control, whilst others are letting theirs run around willy nilly!

We have a problem here with dog fowling, despite council putting up more bins! At one point everyone in our post code got a letter from council, saying that the situation wasn't acceptable.

Most( but not all) peeps who walk their dogs have poop bags with them. The guilty parties let their dogs run ahead, off the leash, or at night time, when our curtains are drawn, and we can't see the guilty party.

If some dog owners choose to be responsible, why not the others? It's as if the non-conformers are sticking their finger up to society and their neighbours!

I had a neighbour at another house, who regularly let his dog do it's business on my front garden. After returning a number of his dog's calling cards on his garden and step, said dog suddenly changed it's toiletting habits!

Just a thought, if you know who the guilty party is!

lol Gail I do have a friend who's done that. (returned the calling cards).

It's not just the fact it's small dog poo and I have 2 small dogs..mmm mind it's only just started and there is only 6 small dogs walk that way .

This person carries poo bags she goes out with 2 and returns with 2 ??
I go out with 4 and often return with none? but I never return with the same amount as I went out with.

That aside I am annoyed at her attitude to allowing the dogs off lead. The T&C's of the site and notices all the way around state dogs must be on a lead. Bless there are some that aren't but they are that old they couldn't chase a tortoise, well you don't mind that do you ? But when you have 2 2yr olds running around like loonies, what ever are they going to do when the site fills up.

Meanwhile I will still be the baddie because I objected to loose dogs.

Thanks for being on my side... I do know anybody this person talks to who knows us will defend me on my dogs, and after all, all dogs should be leaded.

well I think they will

I'm just glad I'm not a loose dog walking past your fence, ha ha ha

UzziAndHerDogs Report 8 Sep 2010 21:26

awwww but Wend they would probably wag their tails at you !

I can let mine off leads to meet other dogs. (sometimes) but this is their territory (sp) and they hate loose dogs. Other dogs can come to the fence and they roll over and to play. When out Minx, the 'vicious' one. when meeting an unknown loose dog running towards her climbs up me. But meet one she knows and doesn't like she a hell bitch and I dread to think what would happen if I let her off. lol she would probably climb up me if the dog was bigger than her.

even more in the doghouse now. I was watering my plants (as you have to at this time of year) and I some how managed to put the spray on stream or something and it hit her dogs,,,,

Uppps why where they that close I asked ..oh no leads still ? Sorry I was only watering the plants I didn't expect dogs that close.

I will not repeat the rest of the conversation.

What annoys me are the owners who bag up the poo and then throw it into the hedges. If they kicked it into the hedges it would soon be gone.

LanarkshireLassie Report 8 Sep 2010 22:51

So true, Uzzi!

Plants have to be watered at the correct time of day. Not your fault, unaccompanied dogs were walking past when you were tending to your plants, lol!

Chris! Where exactly is the poo being thrown into hedges? Which town?

As you say, without the bags, it would be broken down, by nature! I'm guessing these are lazy bxxxxxx, who can't be bothered looking for a bin!

Thank god I've got a cat, who is considerate enough to use a litter tray!

Chris I am not sure about that answer, why if they throw in the hedge is it better than if they kicked it into the hedge ?

personally if ya responsible to bag then be responsible to dispose it.

so many only bag because people are watching and get rid at the earliest chance
