	Well, this has been "One of these nights" ... My friend of more-years-than-I-care-to-remember has recently moved back up to the north east after many years spent in the Wiltshire countryside. So, we decided on a night at the theatre. Very cultured. And then a quick drink in a nearby pub. Which led to another quick drink in another nearby pub Which led to a pub crawl around South Shields. Culminating in an hour in a karaoke bar. That'd be me, then - hair plastered to the head.... it was hoying it down - giving it a bit of what for to Welcome to the Hotel California. Not a pretty sight, I'm sure! In my mind we were wearing our Afghan coats again. Ah, the sweet scent of patchouli oil.... (and we're doing it all again tomorrow night - minus the theatre) I wish I'd had a purple umbrella - or even and a 50 cent hat! Sue xx
