Bridget's advice is good Gill. Try not to sleep until the right time for where you are. I always find that I suffer more from jet lag when coming home than when going to the States. Have a small spray bottle (under 100 as allowed) and spritz your face to moisturise the skin. Also have a tissue impregnated with lavender oil to breath in from to calm you when agitated. |

Have you booked your flight? If not perhaps you could consider flying across at night and sleeping for the TA part of the journey, then the rest of the journey will be in your body's 'daytime' regardless of the hour there. |

I hate travelling and flying although I do it 3/4 times a year, usually 3 or 4 hour flights, however the last time I went to the States I arrived feeling tired scruffy and generally cream crackered !!!!! |
