Just to try and visualise the difference of the two places, Heaton and Cleckheaton.....imagine a clock....with Bradford city as the centre. ......Heaton would be at 11 .....travelling about 2 miles out of town. Cleckheaton would be at 5 ...travelling about 6 miles, literally in the opposite direction. Hope this helps-JLe

David.
Heaton ,Bradford & Cleckheaton are 2 totally different places.
As far as I can remember, Cleckheaton is further south in Yorkshire.

This address is only shown on the 1841 census of bradford, and then only about 6 houses. Does anyone know what sort of street it was?very little on net about it. I do need to know if heaton and cleckheaton are the same or seperate places.Surely there must be a bradford native on line?
