thread address which Secret Red Squirrel gave, has loads of useful websites and tips for researching in Australia.

Tips Board: * AUSTRALIAN RESEARCH TIPS *

http://www.genesreunited.co.uk/boards.asp?wci=thread&tk=1164799

If you go to your your browser address bar and change the 1240851 and any other numbers at the end of the address, and put
1164799 instead, it will take you to the thread.

Post anytime suitable for you. As Australia is a big country with its own the time differences, it is difficult to pin down when people living there are awake. Assume your early ish morning or in the evening.

I was wondering if any body could help me I am trying to find out where my ancestors are buried, mostly in Victoria, South Australia, New South Wales and Queensland in Australia. I was wondering is there a simple way of trying to locate the records.

Many thanks
Diane
