start at the beginning of the text you want to copy, hold leftclick down and drag the cursor to the end of your selection, the text is now blue,
now right click anywhere on the blue text, and in the drop down box select copy, open up word or something and right click on the spare space and then select paste.........viola!!

LIKE so.............

simples!!

when you know how.

just a point though copy does just that makes a direct copy, leaving the original intact..IF you select CUT, then that REMOVES the selection and pastes it elsewhere.

works with pictures also..

Hi Jude, hope you can get the hang of it soon.

I copy and paste all the time, I read the local paper on line and copy stuff to send to my o.h. in an email, it's the only way things sink in about local issues, as he can read and re read the email but if I tell him about the item it goes in one ear and out the other lol

His father spoke to him about something and o.h. said Oh yes Liz emailed it to me, and his father was horrified that I would do that lol He obviously doesn't know how little his son is able to concentrate on the spoken word!
