We do indeed Dutch, my dad passed 33 years ago and I still miss him terribly and think of him every day, I often feel him around me expecially when I'm down and upset. |

My Dad's situation was brought back to me yesterday. An ambulance turned up next door to take the neighbour into hospital, at least I hope he is in hospital and not in a funeral parlour. I didn't like to go out and ask when his son brought the stepmum home. Neighbour has had chest infections on and off for ages and last week was ill again, so he and his wife, (both a bit younger than me but retired early on redundancy pay) had to cancel their holiday to Majorca, they should have gone on the 14th for two weeks. Both of them were smokers and then he gave up but she continued, she finally gave up smoking about a year or so ago. |
