"SRS.....
Theres lots of reasons behind the What ..............not providing a suitable enviromant for the cat !!! well if you are a homeless person and you have a dog you get extra money for the dog ...no problem there BUT how come a suitable enviroment is a dog being homeless and that being ok!!!

Then somewhere this week a lady has given back her puppy to the RSPCA coz she no longer gets social sercurity for it coz nits not a puppy now ....she intends to get a new puppy!!"

Hello Kemp :)

you still haven't persuaded me that she shouldn't be charged, she was obviously being malicious with no thought for the cat.

Do you have any links to the news articles which discusses payments for dogs?

Thanks

Must say l'm pleased she's got charged, if people think they can get away with animal cruelty they may think they can then do the same to humans....!!

I think she needed police protection,as the animal loving gut public reaction was to rip her head off!, there had been threats to harm her so she was given the same rights as the next.

And it would have been made doubley sure that had police assistant been needed elsewhere it would have been provided.

Her public disgrace wont stop animal cruelty though.

I havent been on chat so missed any previous discussions but I think it'll send a strong message out to other people abusing animals. But my main concern is the police protection she was given. I live in the same part of Coventry as Ms Bale and believe me, the police are much needed elsewhere. The domestic violence record is diabolical in Coventry (and my daughters friends mother was murdered by her ex after asking police for help). Also a problem in some areas is anti social behaviour, with residents scared to go out. Yet Mary Bale got a police escort!! Makes my blood boil.

Sorry that's not logical Kemp. It's like saying we shouldn't bother tackling any criminals apart from murderers.

Animal cruelty like cruelty to humans should not be tolerated.

The RSPCA has charged Mary Bale with 2 counts of cruelty.
She is accused of causing unnecessary suffering to the cat, and of not providing her with a suitable environment.
