does any know when an attatcment to a house comes into play i;e when an ex partner has paid nothing for 14yrs so now they have taken him to court and he has still not paid so the court can make him sell his house , has anyone had any experience, im owed 12 grand he has offered 4 ive refused , he has children else where but not over nite ?

Can they make him sell it? an attachment ( i thought) only came into play when he did sell it, the person would then be entitled to their share of the money

minnie thats what i thought, but apparently one woman at the csa said she would now get and order to sell but ....i somehow dont believe it and when i have phoned back since there is no one on the case in the office, but for an ex to offer me 4 grand must be aware of something too, so confusing, but i just havent had the time to chase it up when i get home there closed x

the chances of the CSA making somebody homeless are slim
they might quash it

so dont bank on ever seeing the money
it may be a pipe dream

he dont live in it joy, i disagree with the csa that picks on men or woman who did nothing wrong in the relationship too but this man deserves all he gets daddy will buy him another x

thanks ii baby, good point , truthfully weve managed this long hes not on the scene i was kinda doing stuff to take my mind of things but interested too wouldnt it be nice if daddy paid tho,, my daughter would have a good start in life , but its interesting to see what happens, i think someone said they were dispanding ? unsure if even correct word lol xx

If it is possible to get an attachment then do it, you will probably find he will prefer to settle out of court and pay the full £12,000 rather than sell the house.

When my son fell behind in his maintenance payments, the court put an attachment order on his earnings.
