Our Mum was a cuddly mum and can remember her with legs all akimbo cuddling the younger kids . One on each leg and one standing in the middle for a group hug.
I was a WW2 evacuee in 1939 and didnt come home til Jan 1946,wanted to go to the outside lav and was gone some time cos she got anxious !! she came to the door and asked if I was OK?? Well yes but got a BIG cuddle and I missed you even though I had me pants down!!

She reveled in her family and always cried when her children married. She absolutely loved being a grandma and wanted to know where her family was.sadly she died suddenly in 1980.
