I have also wondered who people were.......I couldn't remember where I had seen one of the daughters played by Laura Carmichael. The penny dropped this morning when I couldn't find anything on the net to jog my memory. I have looked in the Award ceremony of Bristol University and Laura graduated from there in 2007. I have seen her lots of times at the Bristol Old Vic along with my son who was in the same group. I am soooooo happy for her as acting is such a precarious profession and even as a student she was brilliant.-JLe |

I like your style Julia - have already requested DVD as cannot abide the advert breaks - although I did watch it. |

Sadly, I did not watch this. Yes I know, I will probably be the only person in the country that doesn't. But there is logic in my madness. |

It was a hit in my book. You dont normally get period dramas on ITV so its good to see that they produced a cracker! |

I immediately recognised Brendan Coyle as Robert Timmins of Lark Rise fame. The maid Joanne Froggat was Zoe Tattersall in Corrie but I am sure she was once in Eastenders - can't find a reference to it anywhere tho I am not a Corrie fan particularly so not sure why I am getting confused, can't recall her character in that at all. |
