Many Thanks to you all (too many to thank individually) for your help, advice, and suggestions on naming this puppy, so many lovely names for my daughter to choose from (daughter is 20 yrs old, and has been nagging us to get her a dog for a least ten years)! oh retired early this year as he'd not been well for about a year, so we've got time to devote to a dog. (I'm more worried about the reaction of my cat - she knows something's up). |

My King Charles has the pedigree name Dark Black Knight, so my boys wanted to call him Batman!!! |

Ask the breeder to put a blanket in with the mother for when you bring her home. It will help settle her into her new home as she will have mums scent with her. |

Well I am going from the red theme to a King Charles theme - have a choice of Nell or Gwyn! Remember Charles said on his deathbed 'let not poor Nellie starve'! Apart from ticking clock - hot water bottle under a blanket - she will miss the warmth of her siblings and mother and an old small cuddly toy. |

Shelly, my suggestion, keeping on the red theme, is Cherry. A clear, sound two syllable name, for easy command to a dog, and easy for a little girl. |
