All the girls fancied him and all the young men wanted to look like him in the 50s.
Me Iwas one of the girls that fancied him for years.

He co starred with Cary Grant in The Pink Submarine.

He was actually in the Navy on submarines.

My sister was a big Tony Curtis fan. She needed to have a tooth out at the dentist under General Anaesthetic only she was worried she was going to miss her favourite TV programme. The Persuaders. When she came round the first words she uttered was "have I missed Tony Curtis"

R.I.P Tony Curtis, you gave a lot of pleasure to many through your films and through your art.

I just heard, such a shame.

Loved him in Some Like it Hot, but anyone who hasn't must see The Great Race (1965), with Jack Lemmon and Natalie Wood as well. Very overlooked but in my opinion one of the funniest films ever made.

RIP Tony

aged 85. One of my movie idols when I was young, especially with Jack Lemmon in Some Like it Hot.
