julie id have passed out,
i have got better with them, as iv had to be brave and kill them,

but i try to get others to do it if possible lol

there definitly bigger this year iv never seen them so big, :(

Chris,

Thanks for the reminder about the conkers. I have some rather dried up ones from last year, so I'm off to the cemetery this afternoon for a fresh supply! Hope I don't get distracted by the headstones, but there is the most fantastic avenue of horsechestnut trees along one side. Hope they haven't all been picked up!

My FIL does this & it doesn't work by him......maybe Norfolk Spiders like a game of conkers

I have a mental picture Joy - oh dear! I know Kitten and I said they are up a gum tree it does work. We have a wood at the back of us and we get huge ones - even OH has to admit to that but not for the past three years. Try it and see - won't cost anything

well i read in the daily mail on tuesday, that some university has proved it dosnt work :( sadly i loathe spides n had to kill a massive one last night, surprising how brave you can be when a 5 yr old is stood beside you haha

spiders come in through my bathroom windows
massive man eaters
so i will get my butler
to hang his conkers out the window

and scare them away

Those who loathe spiders (moi being one) the conker season is upon us. One in a corner of each room keeps them away. Tried and tested for 3 years. OH just brought me 6 nice bright shiny conkers. For those disbelievers - why did I see just this week a spray advertised as having the smell of conkers which keeps spiders at bay on sale at a mere £15. My 6 conkers cost nothing.
