Ditto to Lindsey.

There's also the fact that there is a lot of info available free on line, and this site charges for access to the same info. For instance

http://freebmd.rootsweb.com/cgi/search.pl

http://www.familysearch.org/eng/search/igi/individual_record.asp

http://www.freereg.org.uk/cgi/Search.pl

http://pilot.familysearch.org/recordsearch/start.html

for births, baptisms, marriages, deaths and burials, variously

and the 1881 census at ancestry.co.uk is free access.

You can also often find what you want in the 1911 census for free

http://www.1911census.co.uk/search/tnaform.aspx

And if none of that works, posting a request for help on the Trying to Find board is sure to do it!

It's cheaper to ask on TTF as you can waste a lot of credits not finding what you need here.

Can anyone tell me if it is worth me buying credits and what will i actually be able to access with them?
