I remember Black Rose and Charles of the Ritz. Also one called (I think) white fire, don't know who by.
Then in the 70s now one called Babe by Helena Rubenstein. Also by her Apple Blossom.

RR, your mention of Goya took me back to my childhood - my mother was widowed when I was 8, and with 4 children she needed to boost her income so worked from home.

One of the jobs she did was pack gift boxes for Goya (they were based in Amersham, Bucks) - our house smelt a treat when she did that!!

Thanks for jogging my memory - it made me smile remembering my mum working and me trying to help :-) xx

Charles of the Ritz :)

meeting a German girl who wore it and asking her what it was , buying it for my mum for Christmas it had a big red 'jingle bell' on the packaging which I still have ...and both my mum and I wearing it to go to see 'Barnum' in London.

But for me, Black Rose by Goya was my favourite scent, I wish I could get it now :)

An article in the Mail today mentions this perfume and I had forgotten all about it until I saw it in print. It was available in the late 60's early 70's (well that was when I bought it) and it's been re-released. £80 for a 100ml bottle.
Along with Gingham and Charles of the Ritz Ritual it brings back lovely memories.
Anyone else have other scent memories?
