Assuming your software is up to date, the biggest single cause for not being able to access your GR tree is that your browser is clogged up with all your browsing history and there is insufficient space to download all the files that are needed to display it properly.

The answer is to clear out your browser cache, other wise known as internet temp files on a regular basis. Better still install a program such as CCleaner and run it on a regular basis. If you go down this route, there is a tiny bit of setting up to ensue your cookies are kept intact. If anyone needs help with this then just shout out and someone will pick it up and provide the details of how to do it.

If your internet cache size is set too small, then it might be worth increasing its size, but this is not normally necessary if your computer is less that 5 years old and you have a reasonably up to date browser installed.

All he needs to do, is to go to the 'help' button on the top of a page and use the 'contact us' option from the drop down list.

His membership number is automatically attached to his message to them. Tell him to make sure that his email address is upto date, as that is how they will reply.

They will probably initially tell him to check that he has the most upto date image viewer and should give him a link.

Several other people have had or are having the same problem. Hope he get sorted soon.

I have been contacted by my cousin who cannot access his tree anymore and he does not know why. He asked if everyone has an Identity number for their tree so he can contact the powers that be, and if there is such a number where/how do you find it.?
Any help would be greatfully received.
Thank you
Bridget
