Buy once of those cheap tin money boxes which you have to open with a tin opener. They cost from around £1.99. Drop bits of change in there every time you can spare some. |

What about making things - home-made Christmas cards, gift tags etc? Especially with it coming up to Christmas, it might be worth looking for craft-type fairs in local village halls. The ones round here only tend to cost £10 or so per table so if he's any good at making festive things (or knows anyone who is) it might be worth trying. |
