I'm pleased to hear it's not a big move and that D won't have to change schools or anything , I'm sure he will soon find new jobs : ))

When you get your hands on the garden hopefully you will put down some nice new roots ....lol

No I home-ed Amanda, so that's not a problem. D will have to give up his paper rounds and odd jobs here but he is already working on his future plans lol.

It's about 25 mins from where we are, so just the South of town rather than North, so will still be same general area :) and I'm looking forward to being able to do something with the garden :)

ROFL Janey ... that proves it, we must be related lol

Amanda, I WAS aware of the beak, and it's certainly right about the change of residence lol.

" A tiled roof signifies swift success " is another thing mentioned in my " Dreams Dictionary " .......so I'd interpret that to mean you will be moving soon and it will be a quick and successful move : ))

It took me awhile to find the book and it had more than a little dust settled on it ......lol

You feel like a caged bird and wanna fly over the roof tops, and be set free.
now I recommend you give yourself a good shaking and drink a horlicks before bedtime or a little tipple..

Well blow me ...... to be aware of a birds beak in a dream foretells a change in residence apparently !!I guess you where aware of the beak as you " used " it to identify the bird as a Hawk .

Sounds an awufl lot like a dream I told a psychiatrist once. I was in a basement, and all the rooms had been moved around, but I did find my own room. On the wall were three bugs -- two yellow ones and a brown one, in a triangle. I'd never seen a cockroach before in real life, so I looked at the brown one and decided that must be what it was.

Well.

A house is, of course, yourself. I had the basement -- subconscious. You have the roof -- superid? ;)

I had disruptions going on under the surface, but found "me". You have something bursting through your superid to get free.

And we both have three. Three is the magic number for the male. And we both have two the same and one different. And what gave the psychiatrist hysterics in my case was that I called that one a cockroach. (Git it?)

So I think you've got something trying to escape the controls of your superid, and it has to do with, um, boys. ;)

I do not know much about dreams and the meanings but as I read this it appeared to me that you would have been the one who flew away....could that be so???

anyone ?

I'm looking at a roof (slate) , and it's either a bungalow or I'm on a slope because it's more or less at eye level.

Out of a 'gap' at the top of the roof, appear three birds...i am aware they have just left a nest there, and at first take them for three owls, they are evidently young but fully fledged however when they come further down the roof I can one is a brown owl, one is the very distinctive barn owl, the third flies off the roof and I put up my hand for it to land on my forearm...and as it flies I can see it's not an owl but a hawk of some type ( harrier?) , which is fine, it's very friendly :))

Any ideas?
