I was just a silly girl then - I liked practical jokes like itching powder, fake dog poo, etc. Pathetic really. I've grown up now though!! (but only just)

Save the haggis, I say - I love to see them grazing on the Scottish slopes.

Just looked back. Like you, Joy, I've never eaten a pot noodle in my life, and have only ever had one McDonalds - and that was a childs meal (I was 42), bought for me!
(I was a student and was in a convoy of cars full of students travelling to Wales - I had no say in where we stopped!!)
I'm pleased to say the other students in the car I was in regretted buying it for me! LOL

Oh - and I've never taken my children or grandchildren to McDonalds.

I threw a stink bomb into the HUGE banking hall of the head office of B*rclays B*nk in Brighton when I worked there over 40 years ago and cleared the whole place of customers. I've never told anyone that and I'm 'fessing up now because I know all those outraged managers are dead n gone!

When I was about 9 I had a story published in a Bobby Brewster book.By H.E.Todd. It was the only story I wrote and still have the book which was presented to me.
