We had a large bird crash into one of our glass doors Rose. I waited for my son to go out and see to it but just as he opened the door a very groggy bird hopped to the end of the patio then flew off. It must've been stunned. |

They're surprisingly resilient aren't they SueMaid, though having said that I've had to bury two starlings that crashed head first into the window. |

A couple of years ago we had a young Sparrowhawk fly straight into the living room window and knock itself out , OH rushed out and picked it up ( still stunned ) , he put it on the window sill and a moment later it flew off . Our living room has fairly large windows each end of the room , I guess it thought it could fly straight through as it could see light on the other side . |
