Some years ago we found amongst old papers a pocket sized New Testament bible inscribed witht he above on the inside of the front cover. There are a few annotations that have been written in pencil on some of the pages talking about his desire to be home again. There are also 5 tiny photos of what I presume to be relatives within the pages along with some sort of dried plant.
On the inside of the back cover there is the name Albert Floyd Foster.
I would dearly love to reunite this with the descendants of the original owner. I have googled the area, but there is very little in there. Anyone got any ideas where I can go from here?

Sorry, should have said, the date on the inscription is 1917 I have just found out that Albert was killed in France the day before WW1 ended. How tragic.
Have also just sent an email to Wilkes County Veterans association. Fingers crossed!

Having just re discovered this little bible, I am going to start searching for ancestors of Albert again. Seeing as 12 years have passed there might be more information out there!
