could some kind person who is good at maths please convert 10feet 6 inches x 13ft by 6 inches to square meters thank you.

i am measureing up for a carpet it,s nearly 55yrs since i have had to convert anything thank you for your reply.

I still work in Feet and Inches(to my embarrasment) I just take those measurements in to the carpet people and let them do the converting lol

dont know if this help
10ft 6 ins = 3.212 mrtres
13 ft 6inch = 4.121 metre
so 3.212 x 4.121 =13.23 square metres

Hi Michael ~~~

The carpet shop will want to do their own measurements anyway.

Hubby works with figures daily and used to have to use conversions everyday, when the Steel Industry went from imperial to metric, and knows before we go to the shop how much we want, but they will want to come to measure, depends on carpet width you choose , which way the pile goes etc.
He says at 2.54 cm to an inch, works out you should need 13.17sq metres, but heyho leave it to them , knowing yourself how much you need gives you an idea on the price you'll pay:))
