It would William :) GR suggest doing that ( amongst other helpful suggestions) in their stickied post on TTF and Surname Info' boards,

"If known, try putting the name, place of birth and year of birth in the subject line of your thread. "

Just a thought - wouldn't it be more useful if everyone seeking information would start the 'subject' with either a name or district before stating looking for, seeking, or what ever. I know when I'm scanning through I usually pass over such headings as I haven't a clue that I can help or it would help me. Just a suggestion
