TO ME LIVE TELEVISION AFTER WATCHING THE MINERS EMERGE LIVE ,NOT EDITED I COULD SEE ALL EMOTIONS ,WHEN THE FIRST MAN APPEARED I HAD TEARS IN MY EYES,I NEVER BELIEVED THEY WOULD BE RESCUED IT WAS FANTASIC

TV is a great boon, but in my opinion the telephone and all the communication developments that have sprung from that.

Two I cannot separate - dishwasher and washing machine. I could live without the rest mentioned here and indeed in my lifetime have.

Spectacles, Glasses, Eyeglasses, (depending on where you’re from)

Without them so many people would be unable to see clearly, or as they get older continue to read.
Perhaps not technical in the mechanical device sense, but requiring a lot of technical ability to produce.

Of course if we are talking only recent devices POWER TOOLS making tedious jobs easy, Mmmm Cordless Drills, Routers, Power saws, Sanders, quick where’s that tool catalogue, must have a fix!
