Need help please - have an Epson Stylus (all-in)

one printer. After severe illness had to relearn PC etc, for the life of me I cannot remember how to do an attachment. I can now, print and photocopy but not attach.

What are you trying to attach it to chris? e mail, word??

Is it a photo? What do you copy your photos into? Picasa? other?

when I scan in a photo etc on my Epson it goes to Desktop, or I might save an image from Ancestry etc to 'My Pictures' then if I want to attach to email I just click on 'attach a file'and it gives me the option to 'look in' either pictures/ desktop etc to find it...

is that any help?

I just want to send attachments (photos/script) with email.

When you are sending the e mail it will give you the option to attach a file. Or it may say insert. Click on either of those then, presumably you will have named the file/picture whatever you copied? Click on that and either insert or attach or in some cases 'open' then you will see it is attached to the e mail.

What e mail programme do you use ? they do tend to be slightly different but similar. And do you put your photos into picasa? (free programme)

My email is outlook express and I am just taking old photos and documents to send to other members of the family. Crazy thing I send off a couple of dozen items to NZ up to a few minutes before I took ill!

I do not scan photos into pc - do not use digital camera. I think I have just lost it!!!!!

I only seem to remember using my old separate scanner which had a buttng for email!!

So when you scan with the epson, where does the scan go?

Looking at outlook express on my netbook there is an insert button, you need to use that then find the file you want to send.
