I have a shrub

its is about 3 ft high it has a delicate small liliac bush type flower and ive now noticed some deeper coloured berries, does anyone know what it is please xx |

I'm with Libby,it sounds like a Hebe to me,they have a few varieties with flowers ranging from pink,blue and purple. |

Agree with others, the first thing I thought of was a hebe. Is it evergreen. There are all sorts of these with different coloured flowers, that flower different times of year. |

I think it might be a skimmia? there are various colours and they do have berries after the flowering, I haven't had a hebe that did? |

You're right, Ann, hebes don't have berries. Female skimmias do, but not flowers at the same time. Viburnum tinus have flowers and berries at the same time at this time of year. |
