can anyone tell me if there is a way of searching the 1939 electoral roll for Eltham london - 89 middle park Avenue im looking for a G Mcleod

I think you would have to contact the local archives /Records Office covering that area, to get that information. Unless anyone else knows different.

As has been suggested, there may not have been one as 1939 was the year WW1 started. You could always ask for information for 1938 at the same address.

However, it would be useful to contact Eltham Library as there may have been local Trade style books produced, more or less duplicating the ER info.
