I was a very young mum with a 6 mth old baby, OH was away, just me and my 16yr old brother when Daddy suddenly died in my home. Time helps you accept the loss but you never forget it. I was only beginning to know my father as a person properly, he was a Master Mariner and away a lot. That I regret. |

I'm thinking of you Chris , I don't think it matters how much time has passed when it comes to such a loss , it's the wound that never truly heals . |

Chris I know what you meen. I nursed my Dad with Cancer for 18 months. at 17 years old. Within six weeks of his Death I was called up for National Service. He was 72, and I still miss him today. That was 53 years ago come JAN 11. |

52 years ago today and I recall it as if it were yesterday. He was a nice man and died too young at the age of 51. God Bless. |
