Privacy advice urgently please, Ive been uploading photos on there since 2005 as many family are distant. Now Ive received emails saying certain complete strangers are following my album (all men), and theres nothing apparently I can do to block them. These pics are mostly of my children and new babies in the family. I feel so helpless, Ive emailed Photobucket and not heard a thing :-((((( |

You shoudnt really put children pics on the internet .....some right weirdos about ..best option is remove them ..send pics in private email to your relations |

i use photobucket a lot but would never put pics of my family on there it's open to anyone to download them... |

Have you made the album private? If you do that people can't see the album unless you send the link. |

It was public apparently, I hadnt realised as I thought people could only see the photos if they had the link. Now set to private (little gold padlock), but will be deleted altogether. Totally shaken me up, Photobucket dont want to know. I have the usename of of particular male following me, and the pictures he has on his account are disturbing, as his username, but not enough to be illegal, it brings home how weird some people are. No doubt it would be called 'art' by Photobucket bosses who make a fortune by the advertising on there. Very bad day today. |
