	Hello, I hope you have all had a great evening, renewing your promises at the end of the Centenary of the Guiding Association. I went with my daughters to the site of where the old guide hut used to be on our estate along with the current members of our local Brownies and Guides and lots of past members and we released 2 chinese lanterns and renewed our promises. It was quite poignant as the hut was knocked several years ago but I was remembering all the fun times I used to have there when I ran one of the 3 Brownie packs on the estate. My eldest daughter is now Tawny Owl of the pack that now remains. My Mum used to run the Guides and we were actually quite instrumental in raising the funds to get the hut built on the estate in the first place. To everyone connected to the Association, I hope you have had a great year celebrating 100 years of Guiding and here's to the next 100 hundred years.
