Trying to find sister

I am trying to find Kirsty Anne Clayton born September 28th 1980 in Manchester. Her mums maiden name was Denise Whitehead and dad Brian Clayton. When her parents divorced her dad remarried and had 2 more children. My friend is a sister she doesn't know about and has been trying to find her for many years. The second family have lived abroad up until recently and her sister now lives in Manchester. It is not known what has happened to Kirsty - whether she has married or moved away. Please if anyone can help get in touch xx

Yes Jade is my friend. Kirsty stayed with her mother. Jade has moved from The Falklands to Manchester.
Hope that clears it up. Have obviously tried this site/friendsreunited/facebook/phone books/electoral rolls
Have been sent a couple of leads today so fingers crossed but any info would be wonderful x

If Kirsty stayed with her mother, then her surname be different if the mother married again.

I don't know if they still do it, but I think you used to be able to send a letter c/o Social Security as they should have her details on file if she stayed in England and they could forward the letter to her.
Might be worth phoning and asking if they would do that. I think the Salvation Army people also trace lost relatives.
