It's mine and I have given blood in the past. Will have to look up the restrictions as they seem to run into pages these days.

claire i give 3 times a year and have my silver for 25 pints. sadly i am a+. heres hoping people will come forward. at what other time do you actually get to save someones life. it makes a wonderful gift.

Shelia you will probably find that you won't be able to now. I went last year to donate for the first time in 20 years and they wouldn't take it, because I'd had received blood in 1983 after having my eldest daughter. I said to them that I had given blood in '85 and '86. But they said that because of the CJD scare in the 90's, they can't take blood from anyone who has received blood before the regulations came in. I was disappointed. No wonder there is a shortage if rules like this exist.
