Surprised we have not had a thread on his antics. I don't like him - without good reason- and am jealous of his wages and his apparently wayning? football ability.

However, doing his best for himself and family is perfectly natural and i grudgingly say "well done" to this footballer and his agent.

Harry, I agree. If people want to pay to see footballers play the great game, then it would be very foolish of them to refuse the mighty wages they receive. The fact that I have saved up my pension to see Wayne play in person next week is neither here nor there:-) My choice.... each to his own. BCXX

Well now he,s signed his 5yr contract for loads of money.Watch the Transfer window in January or meybe the Summer.He,s worth a hell of a lot more now,and the "Canny Scot" Fergusson, is probably rubbing his hands waiting to offload him.Not many players have got one over on him yet. and the Glaziers owe one hell of a lot of money,flogging him would help ease the pain.**M**

When Rooney is on form he's great,but at the moment I think his personal life has really got to him and he needs to take some time out.
